Well its Monday I have woken up with a cough but its a sunny day here in Cornwall and I’m determined to make the most of it. So I decided to start my week off with a visit to the wonderful Sorting Office in St Agnes to talk coffee with Sophie followed by a bracingly chilly but blue sky walk from Chapel Porth to Wheal Coates using the National Trust coastal path.
The Sorting Office coffee house was previously run as a Sorting Office since 1902 next door to the village Post Office, with is quirky industrial feel it welcomes a large amount of local customers along with the customers visiting the beautiful quaint village of St.Agnes. It produces beautiful smooth coffee from Origin Coffee and stunning almost too good to cut cakes from Rustic Cakes.

After a coffee I decided to wrap up in my Finisterre jacket and put on my Oak and Hyde boots and stroll along the coastal path from Chapel Porth to Wheal Coates. A very quiet walk with only the sounds of the waves rolling in and the birds chirping, a few hello’s from a couple of hikers as the sun beat down on my backpack and my feet crunched the rocky landscape, there is just something so magical about the Cornish winter.
